Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is a game not originally available on Linux but you can play it with decent performance with some minor tweaking and we show you how to achieve this. Let’s start.
For this game you’ll need Wine or Wine-Staging and DXVK 1.4.2 or newer. In DXVK 1.4.2 all GPUs are reported as Nvidia to work around game crashes.

Now you can start the game but it will throw „Out of memory error. You are propably low in hard disk space. (12)“ error. You can fix this very easy by downloading this file, extract the content (players2 folder) and place it in the game’s root directory. If the error persists, you should open the players2 folder and rename „config_mp.cfg“ to „config.cfg“. The game will start now.
