Did you heard you can play Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden on Linux? Yes you can and it isn’t hard at all. This game is relatively easy for setup and it needs Wine or Wine-Staging, DXVK, DirectX 9, and FAudio.
You can easily install DXVK following our comprehensive guide here. Here’s yet another guide for FAudio installation.
Now you’ll have to install DirectX 9. There are two ways to do that. You can install d3dx9 Wine implementation with:
winetricks d3dx9
or you can install d3dx9 via Microsoft’s official installer. To do this you’ll have to download Microsoft’s official installer and run it with double click just like in Windows. Follow the installer’s steps.
