My Friend Pedro runs very well on Linux and it’s easy to setup it. All you need is DXVK and DirectX 9.
For DXVK installation you may follow our easy tutorial. For d3dx9 installation you have two choices:
- Install d3dx9 via winetricks:
winetricks d3dx9
- Install d3dx9 via Microsoft’s official installer:
You’ll have to download Microsoft’s official installer and run it with double click just like in Windows. Follow the installer’s steps.
If you want you can use ESync for some performance boost. And don’t forget to disable Vsync to prevent stuttering.
