Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, (also known as GTA IV Episodes, Episodic Content or Downloadable Content) are expansion packs for Grand Theft Auto IV that add extra missions, areas, weapons, characters, and more to the original game, as well as a new storyline that interweaves with the main GTA IV one. Currently, both episodes are available for the Xbox 360 version of the game, along with the PlayStation 3 and PC ports which were released a year later.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City is expansion packs for Grand Theft Auto IV and it again is Windows only. Despite this fact you still can play this game on Linux and keep in mind it performs better than on Linux thanks to D9VK.
For this game you’ll need Wine or Wine-Staging, D9VK, and a Xlive patch to circumvent Games for Windows Live.

Now to avoid GFWL problems you’ll have to download a patched xlive.dll library. You can download the library from GitHub. Copy and place it in the game’s root directory near to the game’s .exe file.
If you have a modern computer and your video card has 2GB or more of VRAM, you need to launch the game with the following keys in order to remove the resource constraint and allow you to change your graphics settings:
-norestrictions -nomemrestrict -percentvidmem 100
Keep in mind you’ll still see the red text and the warning message on the Graphics setting screen but this doesn’t change anything.
You can also use ESync for an additional performance boost.
