MotoGP 19 Linux DXVK Wine – how to play this game on Linux.
MotoGP 19 is a Windows game without official Linux version but it runs very well on Linux. However, you’ll need to do some additional steps to run it properly. For this game you’ll need Wine, DXVK, mfplat (Windows Media Foundation), and a Wine dll override.
– For DXVK installation you may follow our super easy guide.
– Now you’ll have to set up mfplat. This is very easy thanks to z0z0z. All you need to do is download the archive, extract it, export your Wine prefix path, and run the install-mf.sh script. Here’s how to do that:
Export your Wine prefix path:
export WINEPREFIX="/path/to/wine/prefix"
And run the script:
./install-mf.sh
– The last step includes d3dcompiler_47.dll override to native. Just issue the following command:
winetricks d3dcompiler_47
Easy as pie! Optionally you can use ESync for some performance boost.
Now you can enjoy MotoGP 19 on Linux!
- Wine version used in the video: Proton with ESync enabled. You can use Wine 4.12 and newer.
- DXVK version: 1.2.1
