Seven: The Days Long Gone DXVK Wine Linux – how to run this game on Linux.

Seven, The Days Long Gone is an open world science-fantasy-themed RPG video game developed by IMGN.PRO and Fool’s Theory. The game doesn’t have one clear genre, with Brendon Calswell from Rock Paper Shotgun calling it a mix of „cyberpunk or technofantasy“. The player character is a thief, and gameplay elements are reminiscent of Thief and Assassin’s Creed, with stealth, assassination, and rooftop parkour. The game contains music by Miracle of Sound and Marcin Przybyłowicz, who also collaborated to provide music for the game’s trailer.

Seven: The Days Long Gone runs very well on Linux but require some tweaking. For starting the game you’ll need Wine, DXVK, FAudio and install mfplat. Be adviced when the game start you’ll have to wait 5-15 seconds and hit enter to skip the intro movie which doesn’t work.

For DXVK follow our step-by-step DXVK installation tutorial. For Faudio you can read the guide here.

Mfplat installation is easy thanks to z0z0z. All you need to do is download the archive, extract it and run the install-mf.sh script:

Export your Wine prefix path:

export WINEPREFIX="/path/to/wine/prefix"

And run the script:

./install-mf.sh

All done! Optionally you can use ESync for some performance boost.
