Shadows: Awakening is the new adventure in the Heretic Kingdoms saga. After the members of the secret council known as the Penta Nera are assassinated, their souls are consumed by the Devourers – evil demons which possess the ability to absorb the memories and personalities of the souls they acquire and materialize them as their puppets. Re-emerging into the mortal realm once again, the demonic Penta Nera continue their quest for power and immortality, but at what cost?
Shadows Awakening Wine Linux DXVK – how to play this game on Linux.
Shadows: Awakening is a game for Windows but you can play it on Linux too. Many peoples have difficulties with the setup, however, for the game requires mfplat (Windows Media Foundation). Now you can learn how to play Shadows: Awakening on Linux in minutes in an easiest possible way.
For this game you’ll need Wine or Wine-Staging, DXVK (v.0.90 or newer), and mfplat installation.

Installing mfplat on Linux can be a matter of some difficulty but thanks to z0z0z it is now very easy. All you have to do is to download the archive from z0z0z GitHub site, extract it, export Wine prefix path, and run the install script. Let start:
Export your Wine prefix path:
export WINEPREFIX="/path/to/your/wine/prefix"
And run the install script:
./install-mf.sh
Optionally you can also use ESync for a performance boost.
All set! Now you can run Shadows: Awakening on Linux!
