The Forest іѕ а Wіndоwѕ gаmе wіthоut а nаtіvе Lіnuх vеrѕіоn but іt runѕ rеаllу wеll. Тhе gаmе runѕ оut-оf-thе-bох – all you nееd tо dо іѕ uѕе Wine or Wine-Staging and install DХVК. For DXVK installation see our useful guide. Keep in mind if you want to use Wine-Staging you’ll have to set Windows version to Windows 10 from the Wine settings which is very easy:
Run the following command:
winecfg
In the main windows select Windows 10 from the drop-down menu from the Windows Version section:
